The Vessel

This striking outdoor attraction is a public art piece located at Hudson Yards. The 150-foot-tall honeycomb-like structure designed by architect Thomas Heatherwick is a shining steel and copper edifice with 154 staircases (2,500 stairs total) offering 80 separate viewing platforms for taking in the view or collecting incredible panoramic photos. The Vessel is free to visit, but timed tickets are required to control crowds.
